Brothers cabin staining and Painting
We started our painting career right out of high school with Paint Tex, a business owned and operated by our mother and step father. Living in an area booming with rental cabins, businesses, and residential homes ... painting offered plenty of work. For 7 years business was good but as we got older we realized that to make a living as painters we needed to use our talents as more than just employees. Then in 2007 came the birth of Brothers Cabin Staining and Painting (Brothers Painting for short). As of 4/16/2010 we have 10 years of experience in the painting industry. Actually we like to call ourselves "stainers" instead of painters. We do a lot more staining than we do painting. We are experts when it comes to exterior paints and stains. We do about 5 interiors a year, 26 cabin exteriors a year, and about 10 home exteriors a year. Occasionally we do hotels, motels, railings, furniture, etc. but those make up a smaller percentage. We are skilled in all areas but there are some things we are experts at (like exteriors).
For the last few years we have been servicing Sevier county and other surrounding counties. We live by the motto
"Make a living, Not a fortune". We aren't trying to get rich we just want to be able to survive and make a decent living. By doing a good job, keeping over head low, and having few employees we are able to keep our prices lower than the average painting company. We have tons of experience having done over 260+ jobs in the last decade (with Paint Tex and as Brothers Painting). We are on-site for every job either working in a pair or with 1-2 other employees. You might find contractors with 40 years of experience but most of them stopped being painters decades ago. We are real painters. We don't hire people to do our work. We do not sub-contract. We personally oversee every single job we are hired to do, from start to finish. No matter how big or small the job might be we are there everyday.
We will work with you side by side making sure you get what you expect. We have a system that we follow but if you have special needs or a special way you want something done we will do our best to accommodate. When we come out to give an estimate we don't just spend 5 minutes walking around then pass you a piece of paper with a price on it. We take you around the home, get an idea of what you are looking for, tell you exactly how we plan to do things, and make sure that you get what you expect. Only then do we talk about the price, which is usually lower than any other contractor. If you get a better price PLEASE call and tell us ... we want to try our best to beat it. We always try to keep prices low but our price normally includes the cost of materials, employee wages, and other business expenses as well as our profits. If our price is not low enough then we may still be willing to lower our bid as long as we can still cover all our costs and make a margin of profit. We may not be able to always out bid everyone but we do our best to try while still being totally professional and providing top quality service.
We want your business and we work hard to prove it from start to finish. We use top quality materials, not pathetic contractor grade paints and stains that start peeling 5 days later.
